Last year this time I was making my 1st purchase of the genre, a pair of what I believed to be my beloved Pantone – 18 Chinese Red, a colour to fight for (like in my post from 2 years ago), a pair of Louboutin.

Actually, I would soon discover when I wanted to wear the shoes, that they were a terribly well done, yet nevertheless pair of FAKES! OMG!! The shock horror I felt that moment. The disappointment and the shame!!

Yes shame, as I had been too cheap to save and buy myself something that I wanted and picked to go buy them in a shop where I guess this risk existed of them not being the real deal. Yes, they were in the right box, yes they had individual wrappers, but there was no silk paper and most importantly there was plastic covering the sole! Who does that? But in my crazy excitement of the moment that did not cross my spirit… so I paid half price and left with a pair of fakes.

Almost a year later I was taking the shoes back and making a scandal, threatening to unmask this terrible fraud (in my mind) to other innocent consumers. The lady ended up giving me the money back! and I left happy.

This year, sale time caught me in a funny and funky mood and shopping has been brilliant I must admit! Currently the winter sales are still going on in France but I am done for the season I think!

I wanted to share my 1st pair of the stylishly devilish Prada heels… sexy yet nice! The perfect escarpin as the French would say. 😀 Love them and they can’t wait to be worn! Yes, they are the real deal, from shop you’d normally pay the full price but that’s why it was SALES time and present time for me!!! Yey, for smart shopping!!!
